KWBG Sports at a Glance for December 28th

AMES, Iowa (AP) - Iowa State strong safety David Sims has been
picked to play in the East-West Shrine Game.
Sims will play for the West team in the collegiate all-star game
set for Jan. 22 in Orlando, Fla.
Sims had 96 tackles this season along with four pass breakups
and three forced fumbles. Sims also had a career-high 17 tackles in
a loss at Oklahoma.
Sims is the 29th Iowa State player to play in the East-West
Shrine Game. Center Reggie Stephens played in the game last year
before joining the Cincinnati Bengals.
